As demand for electric vehicles soars in Europe amid high gas prices linked to the war in Iran, some EV models are already emerging as winners.
BMW said Tuesday that it has now produced the 50,000th iX3, its new-generation electric crossover riding on the Neue Klasse platform. The automaker said demand is off the charts, and it has added a second production shift at the Debrecen, Hungary, plant as orders pile on.
