Mercedes-Benz is embarking on its do-over era for EVs. Its EQ cars just didn’t hit due to their high prices and controversial styling. Now, the CLA is here to save the day.

Mercedes announced pricing and final specs for its next-generation electric four-door today, and it’s a better deal than you might think. For about the same price as the equivalent gas Mercedes, you get a sedan with nearly 400 miles of range and 320 kilowatt charging.

It’s fair to say that after some stumbles, the brand’s first true Tesla Model 3 competitor has arrived. We’re looking forward to driving it soon and sharing our impressions with all of you.
