Mercedes-Benz is shifting its EV offensive into high gear with the new electric GLC. Gone is the jellybean styling of its early EVs. In its place are clean and confident proportions. But the star signatures everywhere still give me the ick.

Unlike the first and second-gen Mercedes EVs, the new GLC is a properly software-defined vehicle built for continuous over-the-air updates. The range, charging, and performance figures are seriously impressive, too.
