Slate is one of the EV startups I’m most intrigued by in 2026. Its mid-$20,000 pickup truck is a brand-new concept, and nobody is quite sure whether it’ll be a hit or not. We’ll know more once the EV hits production later this year.
The startup maintains that it will begin cranking out pickups in Indiana by the end of 2026. And as it revealed on Thursday, its factory is shaping up.
