We’ve made it through another week, InsideEVs readers.
On today’s edition of The Update, the second-generation Tesla Roadster is back in the spotlight. The Information reported Friday that Tesla could demo a “flying” Roadster powered by SpaceX-developed thrusters as soon as this month.
The demo EV could reportedly be remotely operated because of the noise and force generated by the thrusters. There could also be a street legal version, and that’s something early reservation holders have been waiting for nearly a decade.
We’ve been hearing about the Roadster’s imminent arrival for a long time now, only for it to get delayed each time. We’ll soon find out if this time it’s actually true or just more vaporware.
